Trump’s inauguration

Her name is Bishop Mariann Edgar Budde, a common face during President Trump’s inauguration yesterday, whose actions now reveal the stark contrast between Biblical truth and moral compromise.

As the spiritual leader of 86 Episcopal congregations in Washington, D.C., and Maryland, Bishop Budde carries a sacred responsibility to uphold God’s Word. Yet, her unwavering zeal for LG8TQ+ advocacy demonstrates how her mission has strayed far from Scripture. The Bible is unequivocal: “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil” (Isaiah 5:20). Instead of leading sinners to repentance (Acts 3:19), Bishop Budde seeks to normalize s!n under the guise of justice and inclusion.

Yesterday, she boldly pleaded for LG8TQ+ rights, demonstrating the irony of her ministry. Trump, who is a secular leader stood firm to defend biblical truth, yet, a bishop, ordained to defend biblical truth, stood in opposition to her sacred calling. Instead of being a voice of holiness and truth, she used the platform to persuade world leaders to embrace sin, contradicting every expectation of her role as a bishop.

The Church is at a crossroads. Leaders like Bishop Budde represent a tragic departure from the Gospel, prioritizing worldly approval over the truth of Christ. The light of the Church must not blend with the darkness of the world (2 Corinthians 6:14). It is time to separate the chaff from the wheat and call both leaders and congregations to repentance, standing firm in the authority of God’s Word.
