Introduction

The Ten Commandments can be remembered not only as a list of rules but as ten life-governing principles. Each commandment answers a basic question about our relationship to God and to others

I. Duties Toward God (Commandments 1–4)

1. The First Commandment

“Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” (Ex. 20:3)

  3. Remember: Worship is not just singing — it is trusting, obeying, and loving God above all.
